Charleston Pharma Casting Now Closed. All talent have been notified and confirmed

Tuesday October 11, 2011 by Chef

Thanks to everyone that came out to the casting or submitted for it from surrounding areas. The client has made final booking selections and we've gotten in touch with everyone to confirm.

Remember to keep your Webcomp fresh, as you never know when and where we are submitting you! Great photos are key. If you are serious about this industry, then we recommend professionally shot photos showing you in a wide range of settings, locations, wardrobe, etc. If you are in the Soup for fun, be sure your photos are clear, well lit and not fuzzy or pixelated (phone cameras are terrible as a rule).

Marriott, Pharma shoot and other casting updates

Friday October 07, 2011 by Chef

Thanks for being patient everyone! We've been covered up with active projects, pending projects and bids. Marriott is almost nailed down and we expect to have call times shortly. The pharma shoot in Charleston should make final selections today and we've got a pending Atlanta shoot with a national brand beverage maker....so hang in there!

Of course, we'll post all public project info here but remember, most of our projects are confidential and not announced. That's why the Chefs are always telling you to KEEP YOUR WEBCOMP PORTFOLIO FRESH with new photos, your physical data, etc. Once you are in the Soup, you never know where we are sending you!

Calling All Talent Agents: Our Talent Market Is Now Open (for testing)! Sign up to get your talent in the mix!

Wednesday October 05, 2011 by Chef

Are you a talent agent? Are you in the process of starting your own agency? Now you can put your talent to work in the Soup! We are launching our beta Agency Partners today!

TalentSoup was founded on putting great talent to work and now we are opening our incredible projects to represented talent, through their agents!

If you're an existing talent agent, or wanting to start an agency, and would like to be a beta tester for our this new program, give us a jingle. Email eric@talentsoup.com to talk about how we can help each other.

TalentSoup Agency allows agents to invite and manage their talent inside the Soup and take advantage of automatic project submission to TalentSoup projects, streamlined booking, and talent self-service portfolios. The agent stays in control and helps curate their talent through the process. We take the technology hassle out of the management process, and allow you to focus on building your business.

We're looking for a small, select number of beta testers who will give us feedback and help us make a great product. You'll have access to our projects and tools, and after we officially launch, you will receive 6 months of access to TalentSoup Agency for no monthly fees.

So if you are looking to expose your talent to incredible new opportunities, or you want to build a virtual agency with our tools, shoot us an email and let's talk. Soup's on!

September's Show Off Your Awesome Contest Winners announced Monday. Sorry but the chefs are busy!

Saturday October 01, 2011 by Chef

We are behind the curve getting those winners named so look for them on Monday!
Of course, we are now into month 3 so SHOW OFF YOUR AWESOMENESS by promoting YOURSELF on Facebook, Twitter, or where every you can plaster your Public Link URL (the little address that shows up when you hit that Public Link button in your Webcomp).

Remember, this is about you. So if you are motivated to land work, you've got to do your part too! Push those Facebook and Twitter buttons until the writing comes off! Ok, they are digital and won't wear out but you get it! Show. Yourself. Off! Let's get to work!

Hey Talent, do you love your agent (other than us)? Let's talk.

Friday September 30, 2011 by Chef

The Tech Chefs (the brains behind this whole recipe) have been hard at work building a revolutionary tool to let traditional agents add their talent into our castings and projects. We've been test driving the software with Marriott, Procter and Gamble, and a few other castings (shhh, they are secret projects) and the client's love it! So before we officially put this new dish on the menu (yes, we love cooking metaphors) we've got to have some folks taste-test it.

So if you love your agency, and you think they'd be interested in taking a new Agency tool for a spin (which helps promote you more, after all!), have them contact us. We are looking for 10 existing or developing agents to beta test this new tool. Tell them to use chef@talentsoup.com and we'll get in touch with them. Thanks for passing this on!

We are committed to putting our talent to work, making happy clients and ultimately great imagery. These new agency tools are one more way we focus on booking talent.
