A letter (from one of our talent) left us all speechless. Makes the hard work worth it...
Tuesday October 18, 2011 by Chef
We don't usually receive letters or emails of support like this but I have to say this blew everyone here away. It's easy for us to think our hard work and mission to change how this business works goes unnoticed but Jason's note suggests y'all are paying attention. Thanks Jason! (released with permission)-
Hello Fellow Ingredients,
I wanted to drop a few lines about how amazed I am by the services provided by Rad and the Talent soup Chefs. The recipe these guys have is delicious. I joined as a Free Brand around Feb of 2010 never having a previous print, film, or whatever experience in the industry EVER. I was prompted to start a portfolio when our engagement photos turned out truly amazing and thought “Wow I am gonna put these out there”. Sure enough the soup put me up for several varying jobs in the first month or two out of the gate. Within this time frame I was called for my first ever closed casting and was booked as “ Caucasian Family Father”. I could not believe it. I figured there had to be a catch. This job paid $1,300.00 a day (3 Day Shoot) and I was treated like a king. So cool. I was hooked.
I was to be married a week after the shoot and was concerned about a check for thousands of dollars lying in my mailbox while away. The soup easily rectified this situation. I was paid in full within 3 DAYS after the shoot ended! I was not an exception, this is the rule with the soup whenever possible! The communication lines were always open, as I had many questions this being my first gig and I always got the answer I was looking for.
Since then the client has picked up the option and I received another check for around $700.00. I know I read testimonials like this all the time and say yeah right. But look guys, it’s freakin’ free, GIVE IT A SHOT! I did and it has opened my door. I have since been casting for extra parts in film and T.V. all with the support of the soup if I need it and have personally called and spoke with the attentive staff many times. If you have any doubt of what they are about, just pick up the phone and call them. You will know right away from their genuine attitude you are working with people who really care about what they are doing. I am now a Dev brand with the company and it is well worth it.
Thank you so much Rad and Staff you have no idea what that extra money just before our wedding meant to my wife and I. I look forward to working with you guys for many years to come.
Thankfully,

The client was thrilled with our talent and I've heard the videos were great (apparently we have some closet standup comedians in the Soup?). Great job folks. You make us proud...stand by for more info.

Another example of the importance of using TalentSoup to screen clients and projects for legitimacy
Tuesday October 11, 2011 by Chef
While no agent or broker can prevent such things from happening entirely, this is one more reason we are trusted by talent and clients alike for quality projects with great outcomes.

If a project would make our grandmothers scold us (and they are pretty hip), we think twice about taking it.
