There is so much weight in the words of our Declaration of Independence. Just the name of the document is powerful...

Declare - To state with passion and power Independence - Without dependence on another thing, person, entity, government.

We thank God we were born in America and we thank God for each of you reading this. America is the greatest country in the world, and the greatest country ever conceived on this planet. Even in her bad decisions, even in her tragedies, she stands unequaled. We thank God for the framers of our country. For the bold and brave men and women that were determined to leave a legacy of freedom and opportunity. That their sacrifices, wisdom, and determination should lead us to exist in this country, in this time, is surely a gift from God.

• We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. *
